On this day in 1875, Dr. George Green patented an electric dental drill, forever changing the way dentistry is done. We're grateful for this first electric drill that paved the way for the modern, air-turbine-powered drills we use today, but we understand if you're not super into celebrating the drill. Why not celebrate it by not needing one for awhile? Brush, floss and see us every 6 months for your cleaning & exam!  For the last four years, we've been partnering with Morris County Vocational School District to provide training for dental assistants. Our instructor is Sarah Siroka, RDA, who you might recognize as Dr. Howard's assistant in our Morristown location. Sarah has taught dental assisting classes for over 20 years. The latest class of Introduction to Dental Assisting completed their first course in the program on December 4.  Fall 2017 Introduction to Dental Assisting Class Now that they have completed the Introduction class, they'll study Infection Control, then Dental Radiology later this spring.
We also offer a class to help prepare experienced dental assistants for the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) General Chairside Exam which begins in February 2018.
