Jolene comes to us after working 24 years for a dental office in upstate New York. She has a thorough knowledge of practice administration and dental insurance. Jolene is the person to see to help you navigate your dental benefits and financial arrangements. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know our extended dental family, especially the younger ones. Jolene earned high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood education. Make sure to stop by the front desk to say "hello"!
Out of the office, Jolene enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports (especially hockey), baking, traveling, learning about different cultures, and laughing as often as possible. Anna Altiero, RDHDental Hygienist
Anna graduated dental hygiene school in 2009 and has been passionate about promoting oral health ever since! She is committed to providing top-notch care and education to her patients while helping them to achieve bright, healthy smiles.
Anna and her husband are expecting their first child in early 2025! Outside of her professional life, Anna is a proud dog mom to her two pups. Anna also has a knack for baking, often experimenting with new recipes for her family and friends. Joanna McDonnellInsurance Coordinator
Joanna has a degree in food technology from school in Konin, Poland. She began working in the dental field in 2006 as a dental assistant and as an office manager. She is one of our front desk coordinators and is certified in dental radiography. She is always working "behind the scenes" to help the office run smoothly.
In her free time, Joanna likes to explore the world with her husband and young daughter. Judit Kristiansen, RDHDental Hygienist
Judit has been part of Dr. Howard’s team for over 13 years. She graduated with a degree in dental hygiene from Bergen Community College in 2007. Thorough and friendly, she enjoys getting to know the patients by listening to their stories and concerns so that she can provide the best individualized care for them. Committed to professional growth, Judit can often be found researching products and techniques to help patients improve their dental health.
When she is not in the dental office, she spends time with her husband and two young boys. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, hiking and attending the kids’ sports activities. Anna Ata, RDHDental Hygienist
Anna joined the team in 2013. She received her biochemistry degree from Cook College before pursuing a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Anna is compassionate by nature and treats each person based on their individual needs and desires and anxieties. She feels accomplished when she can make a person with a previous negative experience in dentistry feel comfortable in the dental chair. She takes preventive care and patient education very seriously.
Anna is fluent in English and Polish. Children love her and can't wait to sit in her chair! In her spare time, Anna loves to travel with her husband and two daughters. |
Carla Cousins, RDA
Dental Assistant
Carla began her career in dentistry by working for her cousin who is a dentist. She studied at UMDNJ and became a registered dental assistant. Carla's hobbies include: volunteering at a food pantry, enjoying movies and game night with her wonderful son and daughter, and playing classical violin. She is always happy and lives by the sentiment told to her by a patient, "it doesn't take any extra time to be kind". If you hear someone laughing while you are in the office, it's bound to be Carla!
